Parkway Christian Academy

A Christian Educational Environment for
Infants Through 7th Grade!

Parkway Christian Academy is a ministry of Parkway Church that is dedicated to guiding children of Christian families to grow in their faith while providing a comprehensive academic program that is built upon Biblical principles. We provide a dedicated Christian teaching staff, an academically substantive curriculum, and a nurturing classroom atmosphere for our students.

We seek to equip our students both spiritually and academically, challenging them to STAND ON the Word of God; STAND UP for what they believe; and STAND OUT in their actions, attitudes and academics. Our programs and faculty create a setting for excellence which is designed to enhance the spiritual, physical, emotional, mental and social growth of the students we serve. Inherent in this Christ-centered environment is a focus on character development and self-discipline.

As partners with families, we take seriously our responsibility to mold and equip students with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for them to reach their highest potential. We understand the tremendous responsibility we have to the children entrusted to us.

All children are precious gifts from God – only loaned to us for a short time. What an awesome responsibility! At Parkway Christian Academy, we ensure that all children are taught from the Bible daily and that Biblical truth is integrated into all areas of our curriculum. We provide a strong foundation of truth that will be passed on to your children so they will be successful both spiritually and academically now and in the years to come.

Our Philosophy of Christian Education

Founded as a ministry of Parkway Church, Parkway Christian Academy seeks to provide a quality, Christ-centered educational experience. We believe that the Bible is inerrant and authoritative, and that no academic truth can rightly be in conflict with God’s Word. This guiding principle is the cornerstone for all aspects of our school. Our primary focus is to guide students to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, to grow in their faith, and to develop servants’ hearts. This is achieved through Biblical instruction, an academically substantive curriculum based upon a Biblical worldview, as well as through providing opportunities to serve the local community and beyond. Our administration, faculty and staff are committed to the spiritual, intellectual, physical and social growth of the students we serve. In partnership with families, we take seriously our responsibility to mold and equip these students to use the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for them to become life-long learners and reach their God-given potential.

our policy of non-discrimination

Parkway Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admission policies, athletic programs, or other school-administered programs.

In adherence with our Non-Discrimination Policy, Parkway Christian Academy considers all individuals who possess the qualifications necessary to be productive and disciplined students; however, we do not have the facilities or staff necessary to provide a successful educational experience for students with special needs, including academic deficiencies, behavioral problems and emotional disturbances. In the best interest of these students, Parkway Christian Academy will determine whether to extend admission or enrollment to students who are not performing at or above grade level expectations (academically, socially and/or behaviorally) after an interview.

To maintain a community consistent with its beliefs regarding personal conduct and lifestyle, the school reserves the right to refuse admission of an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a student if the atmosphere or conduct within the home or the activities of the student are counter to or in opposition to the Biblical lifestyle the school teaches. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to substance abuse, violence in the home, and/or participating in, supporting, or condoning sexual immorality, homosexuality, bisexuality, or claiming transgender identity. (See Romans 1:21-28; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20)
